All hands on deck

Saddled with the costs of maintaining an old building and reduced funding, the Wallasey Sea Cadets needed to raise £30,000 to replace the heating system at their Training centre in Wallasey, Merseyside. Ian Calder, vice chairman of the management committee of the Wallasey Sea Cadets, sent out a request to the heating industry for help. When Biddle heard of their dilemma we were only too happy to help, providing two Forceflow fan convectors for the main hall. The two Forceflow fan convectors were provided at cost price and installed by local heating contractor Oil Gas Safe.

"We were happy to help with equipment for this project. The sea cadets provide valuable training for young people in the area", according to Biddle’s local sales manager Richard Warnes.

"Heating costs are a big consideration for us and thanks to the help of Biddle and many others in the heating industry we now have a heating system which is economic to run and keeps the building environment at a comfortable temperature throughout the year", explained Ian Calder.

Mark Staples Managing Director of Biddle UK commented: “We take our social responsibilities seriously and we are pleased to be part of a project which will help young people fulfil their potential.”

Biddle Forceflow fan convectors are ideal for heating applications in a wide range of public sector and commercial buildings. Please call us to find out more about the Biddle range.
