Industrial Air Curtains

In industrial premises, such as industrial halls, workshops, warehouses and cold stores, doors are often open for longer periods of time to enable the loading and unloading of goods. The – often large – open doors cause a lot of heat loss and disturb the indoor climate. If the temperatures of the inside and outside air are different, draught problems or problems in keeping the different rooms at the right temperature will be faced with.

Specially for industrial applications, Biddle has therefore developed air curtains that prevent such problems from arising. The air curtains provide unrestricted access for transport purposes and prevent the different climates from intermixing, which leads to healthy working conditions and well-conditioned rooms.

Reduces absenteeism and energy loss
By using an air curtain, the hot air does not flow out through the door. The air that is in the room does not need to be heated or cooled all the time, which saves energy and prevents draught: an agreeable working environment has a positive effect on the workforce. Investments in good working conditions yield fruit in the form of lower absenteeism.

The industrial air curtains are fitted with the patented rectifier. The Dutch research institute TNO and the Technical University of Delft have found that the rectifier produces the highest possible efficiency. The air curtain designed for cold stores comes with the MAT technology.
