Unique air curtain solution from Daikin & Biddle provides cost & carbon savings

Retailers are being given new opportunities to improve shop floor environments, reduce emissions and save money with the launch of a new air curtain connected to Daikin’s Sky Air super inverter heat pumps.
 
In conjunction with Biddle, Daikin have introduced the heat pump air curtain to the market, coupling the benefit of the Biddle patented rectifier technology with the benefits of Daikin Sky Air super inverter heat pumps.

The air curtain operates automatically, either in heating or ambient mode, to maintain year round store entrance temperature and minimise heat loss and heat gains through the doorway.

Daikin’s Sky Air super inverter control reduces start up time and reduces energy consumption by up to 67% compared with typical electrically heated air curtains. Payback can be less than 21/2 years.

The Biddle CITY Air Curtain provides optimised discharge air velocity and, with the patented discharge rectifier, eliminates turbulence and increases comfort.

Air curtains connectable to the Daikin Sky Air super inverter heat pumps are available in three styles : free hanging, cassette and recessed with ducted return air - meaning they can be specified to meet multiple needs of end users.
